My name's Mitchell Cohen, I'm 21 years old and I have been drumming for 13 years and playing bass for 9 years. I have been in the local music scene for over half of my life, and it all started thanks to my father. He introduced me to the world of music at a very young age by gifting me my first drum set when I was 8 years old. Growing up on the Beatles, a good chunk of my musical inspiration stems from classic rock icons such as Stewart Copeland, Chris Squier and (of course) Ringo Starr. Later in life, I began to branch out into new genres of music, discovering a particular interest in jazz and Latin (especially bossa nova and samba) compositions.
Outside of music, I enjoy cooking, weightlifting, and drawing. I'm currently enrolled at UCF working towards a degree in kinesiology after I received my AA at Eastern Florida in 2023. I also have a pet bearded dragon named Peaches!
